Women Who Achieve Series
The Women Who Achieve Series presented by PNC was created to encourage women to continue to learn for both personal and professional development. This series of inspirational and educational programs will help women develop their leadership skills, creating positive change in the future of women’s leadership in Metro Louisville. The series will include coaching, mentoring, motivation and teaching workshops to help women leaders develop to their fullest potential. Content in all of the series will highlight one or more of our key focus areas: Health & Safety, Education & Leadership, Jobs & Earnings and Social Change & the Single Parent Economy.

Co owner and Chief Medical Officer of the newly branded Heuser Health! I have beenPeggy has been an RN since 1978 and practiced most of her career with husband and General Surgeon, Dr Louis Heuser. She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and Spalding University nursing programs and she currently attends graduate school at Spalding University where she is working towards a Master's and Nurse Practitioner degree. They have 2 sons, Chip (28) and Wil (26). Thirteen years ago she and her husband started the Louisville Youth Training Center, a 501c3 nonprofit organization which continues to provide nutrition education and effective exercise for the youth in our schools and community. In 2002, they added adults to the program, and retired from surgery, to focus full time providing "Wellcare" at The Heuser Clinic. In October of this year the company was rebranded to better explain its purpose and position it as the regional authority in prevention and optimization of health. The new company name is Heuser Health. Heuser Health provides Intelligent Health, helping patients/clients achieve "Optimum" health through Heuser Diagnostics, Heuser Nutrition and Heuser Fitness. Jess Grace Personal Chef |
Chef Jess was born in Louisville, KY and grew up in a small rural area just outside the city. She has had a passion for food her entire life. As a child she worked with her mother in the garden and cooking with the freshest ingredients plucked right from the backyard. Her cooking style hasn’t changed much since then. Chef Jess most recently held positions at Rye on Market and before that working as the Banquet Sous Chef for the 21C Museum Hotel. Her culinary start was in Washington, D.C. working with some of the finest chefs in kitchens located on and around DuPont Circle. Her culinary training has come from working on the line, watching carefully, practice, and reading books such as The French Laundry Cookbook, A Return to Cooking, Cuisine du Temps, The Flavor Bible, On Food and Cooking, Mastering the Art of French Cooking and The Professional Chef. |
