WELCOME to the Women 4 Women website.  Our site offers many features, including a Resource Directory specifically designed to help women connect to the resources and services they need; "What's New" feature to keep you updated on our latest news; a Polling Section to poll visitors on topics important to girls, women and their families; and much more.

To navigate our site, we have created a purple navigation bar to the left of this page.  Simply click on each subject for information relevant to that subject.  Some subjects have sub headings underneath them.  Click on each sub heading for further information.

Our goal is to make this site useful and easy to navigate, so please let us know if you see something you would like added or changed.  At the bottom of this page is a comments section that allows you to provide us with feedback.  We hope you will share your thoughts with us!

Thanks to the Gheens Foundation for funding the updates and making it possible to add features that will help women connect to each other and to resources.  We are also grateful to Solid Light and the Women 4 Women team who made it all come together.

WHAT'S NEW

Annual Luncheon an Inspirational Success

On Wednesday, September 10th, Women 4 Women hosted its 2008 Annual Luncheon at the Kentucky International Convention Center. It was attended by almost 1,500 women and men, many of whom are already dedicated members of the Women 4 Women movement to build a city of Champions 4 Her. The event featured keynote speaker Tori Murden-McClure, the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean, who helped round out this year’s theme—Reflections of Champion—by rethinking some of the great stories of women in history and mythology.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us for this wonderful event, especially our presenting sponsor, ruby sponsors, all other sponsors and volunteers for their support. Every person and organization that participated in the Luncheon is a Champion 4 Her who reflects our mission of making Louisville one of the best places for women, girls and families to live and work.
